This fall, G2 named Blumira a Momentum Leader in three categories — SIEM (security incident and event management), SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response) and IDPS (intrusion detection and prevention system).

Overall Blumira earned 24 awards this quarter including badges for High Performer, Best Relationship, Best Est. ROI, Best Support, Fastest Implementation and Best Results.

Momentum Leader

Blumira ranked highly on G2’s Momentum Grid, which features products that have high-growth trajectories based on user satisfaction scores, employee growth, and digital presence.

As a Momentum Leader, Blumira ranks in the top 25% of three categories — SIEM, SOAR and IDPS. Out of 30 other products in G2’s Fall 2021 Momentum Reports for SIEM, SOAR, and IDPS, Blumira received the highest Momentum score, which represents Blumira’s strong position in the cybersecurity industry. For the SIEM category specifically, Blumira blew the competition out of the water with a score of 86 out of 100 — the next closest competitor scored 68.

Blumira gained even more momentum this year by raising $10.3 million in Series A funding, which will help us to accelerate our vision of making security affordable and accessible to all organizations.

Best Support

Blumira earned the Best Support G2 badge for the fifth consecutive time. Customers ranked Blumira as having the highest quality of support out of 19 other SIEM vendors, beating out competitors like Splunk, Sumo Logic, Datadog and Netsurion Event Tracker.

We’re proud to offer responsive support to our customers via our team of security experts — with no additional cost. Blumira’s engineering, security analysts and incident detection engineer teams act as trusted advisors for our customers and partner with them to provide education for their overall security success.

One of our customers, Ottawa County, said that Blumira’s support was one reason that they chose Blumira.

“We’ve been able to work intimately with Blumira’s team to get solutions spun up with us. It’s great that Blumira listens to us and we’re not just a small fish in a big pond.” – Mike Morrow, Technical Infrastructure Manager, Ottawa County

We provide our recommendations on what types of logs and detections will bring the most security value while reducing the noise of unnecessary alerts, as well as unnecessary busywork for small IT/security teams.

Fastest Implementation

Blumira also earned the Fastest Implementation badge for the fourth consecutive time. This means that Blumira had the shortest go-live time out of all products in the SIEM category, beating out competitors like LogRhythm, IBM QRadar, Graylog, EventSentry, AlienVault, and Splunk. Implementation scores also take into account ease of setup and user adoption.

Deployment has historically been a pain point for SIEM products. Traditional SIEMs require massive amounts of configuration and fine-tuning, which is why deployment can take months or even years to fully complete.

In a comparison of time to go live across 16 different vendors, Blumira is 75% faster than the industry average – .5 months compared to the average 2 months for setup and deployment of a SIEM.
