Your Role in Our Mission
We’ve been building a world class security platform that helps customers of any skill and size detect and respond to security threats without requiring security expertise. Blumira’s business is growing fast and we are looking to build our initial sales team. We are looking for people that are passionate, driven, a willingness to try new things, have empathy towards others and are open to change.
For this role you will be working to drive customer demand for Blumira and acquiring new customers. Our target marketing for this role is companies between 100-1500 employees. You will need to be able to build a target strategy to acquire customers and drive interest in Blumira while we start to scale our inbound demand generation efforts. You need to be comfortable with trying new things.
We expect you to become comfortable with:
- Outbound targeted cold calling
- Demoing Blumira’s product
- Closing deals with an average deal size of $40k ACV
- Driving interest through social selling including reference customers, email campaigns and linkedin.
- Try new approaches to engage with customers
- Constant change as we scale the business
For this role we are looking for key attributes in people including being coachable, self-motivated and excellent communication skills.
We prefer people with the following experience/skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication
- 2+ years in inside sales including inbound/outbound sales
- 1+ year of social selling (referral/linkedin)
- SaaS sales / Security sales
- Prior overachievement of sales targets
- Product demos
We also consider candidates that are not currently in the exact role. For example a sales engineer could provide tremendous value to the customer by providing additional technical depth.
