Jim Simpson and Matt Warner Nominated for Prestigious Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Award

We’re excited to share that Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has named Blumira CEO Jim Simpson and CTO and Co-founder Matt Warner finalists for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Michigan and Northwest Ohio Award. Jim and Matt are two of 34 regional entrepreneurs from 30 companies selected as finalists based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact.

Entrepreneur Of The Year is a competitive business award for audacious leaders who disrupt markets, revolutionize sectors and have a transformational impact on lives. Over the past four decades, the program has recognized daring entrepreneurs with big ideas and bold actions that reshape our world.

Matt and Jim strive to eliminate gatekeeping in the infosec industry. They are passionate about helping SMBs, often most vulnerable to cyberattacks, improve their security maturity with thoughtful and intentional cybersecurity solutions. Under their leadership, Ann Arbor-based Blumira has successfully launched various solutions that lower the barrier to entry for companies of all sizes, enabling them to uplevel their security stature through effective detection and prevention of security breaches.
