Jon Isaacson is a cybersecurity consultant with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, enterprise software, and U.S. government cyber operations. Prior to founding JTI Cybersecurity, he held several senior technical positions at technology companies and defense contractors. Jon built the product security team for a global surveillance software company, and has designed innovative cybersecurity and surveillance solutions for Fortune 500 companies, casinos, militaries, and governments, and has led infrastructure projects for large ‘bluechip’ customers in verticals including finance, healthcare, transportation, and critical infrastructure. Prior to his experience in private industry, Jon supported both offensive and defensive computer network operations, serving the U.S. Department of Defense as a network analyst and field operations officer. During his time in government, he received several awards in recognition of cost savings, outstanding service, and overcoming a significant technical challenge. Jon holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and certificate in Information Security Management from Florida Atlantic University, as well as an M.S. in Information Assurance (now called Cybersecurity) and certificates in Information Assurance Administration and Network Protection from Capitol Technology University.Jon’s technical certifications include SANS GIAC, CEH, CNDA, Security+, MITRE Caldera, Art of Exploitation Media Forensics, Mobile Forensics, and Wireless Exploitation, Network+, CCNA, and VMXP. He has attended vendor and professional training courses from Cisco, Art of Exploitation (now part of ISACA CSX), McAfee Foundstone, APC, Motorola, AMAG, 3CX, and PMI.
