Amanda Berlin, Senior Product Manager, Cybersecurity

Amanda is the Sr. Product Manager of Cybersecurity at Blumira, bringing nearly two decades of experience to her position. She  leads product initiatives focused on XDR and response capabilities, ensuring comprehensive detection, investigation, and automation solutions meet customer needs. She also oversees incident detection engineering initiatives, including detection rule development, workflow optimization, and cross-team security education, while addressing additional customer requirements.

An accomplished author, speaker, and podcaster, Amanda is known for her ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for audiences of all backgrounds. She co-authored an O’Reilly Media book Defensive Security Handbook: Best Practices for Securing Infrastructure, a comprehensive guide for starting an infosec program from the ground up. She has presented at various industry events, including Blueteam Con, RSA Conference, and DEF CON. She is also co-host of Brakeing Down Security, a podcast about the world of cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and regulatory issues that arise in today’s workplace. 

Matt Warner, CEO and Co-founder

Matt brings nearly two decades of IT and cybersecurity experience to his leadership position, and a genuine passion for cybersecurity education. Prior to founding Blumira, he was Director of Security Services at NetWorks Group, a managed security services provider (MSSP) with a focus on compliance and ethical hacking. While at NetWorks Group, Matt’s team searched for a SIEM that would serve their small to midsize business (SMB) clients well, but found that most products on the market were overly complex, expensive, and difficult to maintain. The concept of Blumira formed when Matt noticed this significant gap in the market, and he developed a threat detection and response platform that was easy for SMBs to use. After the technology’s internal success at NetWorks Group, Matt founded Blumira to focus his efforts on growing the platform to scale. Matt is passionate about helping SMBs, which are often most vulnerable to cyberattacks, improve their security maturity with thoughtful and intentional changes.

Zoe Lindsey, Senior Director of Messaging

Zoe is a Security Strategist with over a decade of experience in information security. She began her infosec career at Duo Security in 2012 with a background in medical and cellular technology. Throughout her career, Zoe has advised organizations of all sizes on strong security tactics and strategies. As a sought-after speaker, she has shared best practices and recommendations at industry-leading events including RSA Conference, SecureWorld, and Cisco Live. When she’s not championing smart security on stage, you can usually find Zoe behind her turntables rocking dance floors from San Francisco to New York as her alter ego DJ Selina Style, including notable appearances at DEF CON and SXSW.
