Blumira honored for offering exceptional SIEM and XDR cybersecurity solutions to SMBs

TMC.net Award badge for Remote Work 2024

The results are in! TMC, a global, integrated media company, is recognizing Blumira’s continuous efforts to deliver robust cybersecurity solutions to SMBs. Blumira has been named as a 2024 winner of the TMCnet Remote Work Pioneer Award, which honors companies whose software and other solutions support the massive increase in remote working brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Recognizing leaders in the advancement of remote working software, TMC is proud to announce Blumira’s SIEM and XDR solution as a recipient of the 3rd Annual Remote Work Pioneer Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “Blumira is being honored for their achievement in bringing innovation and excellence to the market, while leveraging the latest technology trends.”

Blumira security information and event management (SIEM) and extended detection and response (XDR) platforms enable organizations to resolve threats faster to stop ransomware and prevent breaches. Many organizations offer hybrid or fully remote work, which increases the difficulty of maintaining visibility and security in the workplace.

In a recent survey, Blumira asked organizations what percentage of their employees work remotely. In nearly 100 responses, we discovered that 88% have remote workers and 43% still have the majority working from home. Only 12% of organizations surveyed were entirely on-premises.

Several businesses need help to meet security needs to support remote work. Most lack internal security teams; even if someone handles security, they often have other responsibilities, such as IT or help desk tasks. Businesses also face a complex economic climate forcing them to revise their financial models, stretching thin security and IT budgets that need to support endpoint security.

To help SMBs with limited resources, Blumira combines cloud-based SIEM, XDR and endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities.

“Cybersecurity software has been a crucial resource for decades in the ever-evolving digital work landscape,” said Jim Simpson, CEO of Blumira. “As we navigate the challenges posed in recent years by the COVID-19 pandemic, Blumira’s software stands out as an exemplar of support for the digital workforce. Our commitment to empowering individuals to work safely from any location has been a cornerstone of our mission. Our solutions ensure that remote work is not just seamless but secure, underscoring our dedication to enabling a flexible yet fortified digital workspace for our customers.”

The adaptability and scalability of Blumira SIEM and XDR platforms are crucial in today’s dynamic cybersecurity landscape. It’s paramount for businesses to have a flexible and scalable security solution with the increasing complexity of threats and the rapid expansion of IT infrastructures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Blumira can seamlessly integrate into diverse IT architectures, offering tailored and scalable solutions that align with the evolving needs of organizations, especially those with remote workforces.
