Cyberattacks can be particularly disastrous for OT environments, as we saw with the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack in May 2021.
For companies that run OT (operational technology) environments, a cyberattack disrupts services and could damage critical infrastructure, forcing a complete shutdown of operations until resolved.
Incident response can help contain and minimize the impact of a breach, but organizations must develop and document a comprehensive incident response plan before an incident happens.
Join Matthew Warner, CTO and Co-Founder of Blumira, and Pascal Ackerman, Managing Director of Threat Services at ThreatGEN, as they discuss incident response best practices for OT environments.
- How incident response for OT differs from IT environments
- Why bridging the OT and IT divide is critical to an effective IR plan
- What we can learn from Colonial Pipeline in regards to incident response
